Advice Please on Blocked Eaves With Insulation Information, help and tips on many areas of roofing including trusses, tiling, venting, insulation etc....

Hi everyone,

I currently live in a property and found that the eaves has been blocked with insulation. Its a vaulted roof so the insulation goes really far down and I cannot just pull it out. Is it OK to get roof vent tiles at the top and leave this eaves blocked? We had a roofer around today who said this was the case but wanted to check if anyone else has any experience with this.

Unless you have an issue with damp in your roof space I would leave well alone.
