Hi,

We're planning to lay a new patio, and I'd like to ask what the general opinion is on the best material. Our builder has recommended Imitation York Stome, but elsewhere I've read advice to stear clear of this.

Any opinions?

Thanks!

york stone is lovely but not imatation york stone!,both types are very porus and will stain and dirty quickly so not a good idea for patios.
I would go for a good block paving stone whic are normally hard wearing and can be jet washed and cleaned easily, hope this helps.
