Removing water tank in the loft for loft conversion

by omarpz86 » Sun Jun 28, 2020 11:24 am

I have the conventional central heating system in my townhouse with the water tank in the loft and then an additional tank on the second floor beneath it.

Am I correct in thinking that if I want to convert the loft, then I would have to switch to the combi system? Or is there any other option available without compromising on the water pressure, etc in a potentially 4 floor house?

Hi omarpz86
If you have space in the apex of the loft you could fit a coffin tank - a lot cheaper than a combi.
