Discoloured uPVC front door

by Badger35 » Tue Jul 28, 2020 8:06 am

We have a uPVC front door of which the central panel is yellow/grey/discoloured.

We think it was installed in 2007, as the uPVC window frames all have 02/07 in their frame. The previous owner died, and we think Everest installed the new windows and door, as we have had them trying to contact the previous owner.

The discolouration of the central of the door is on the inside as well as outside, so not sun damage, and the surface has also become duller than the frame.

We have bought some specialist uPVC cleaner to clean it with, which has brought all of the embedded grime off, but want to know if there is a way of whitening the central panel again and restoring the same gloss finish as the frame please?

We have not tried anything silly like bleach or scouring pads.
