Laminate floor dent repair? Help, advice, information, answers and tips on all types of flooring from laminate and carpet to timber and vinyl

I'd really appreciate some advice on a dent on my laminate floor, which I made when (foolishly) throwing a cup on the floor in anger.

It's about 4 cm long and 1 cm at its widest point (see photos).

I've looked at DIY laminate floor repair kits with wax etc, but they seem to be for smaller dents and scratches.

I'd be very grateful for any advice advice on how I can at least reduce the damage/look without replacing the whole board.

You could try using some of the 2-part epoxy filler in an appropriate colour but it will still be obvious.
