Gas fire pilot light help after lighting fire! Information, help and advice on many gas related subjects from gas fires to domestic appliances

Hi,

I’ve recently moved into a new property. I’ve tested out the gas fire (which works fine!) but I’m now unable to turn off the pilot light and the gas is supply is making a very loud noise.

I’ve attached a picture of the controls but can’t find any way of turning off the pilot light.

Any help much appreciated.
