How to repair leaking waste pipe?

Hi All

I have got a leak in a waste pipe. Could someone please tell me how this can be repaired.

Mmmm. I'm wondering why its leaking. Water doesn't travel uphill without good cause!

to seal the leak, separate the pipe , put the seal back in place and re-fit. Any use of a sealant will at best only be temporary.
