Do i need to move boiler?

by davsas » Fri Sep 28, 2007 4:37 pm

Hi,
I am looking at fitting a conservatory to my house, but the boiler vent is right where the roof of it will sit, or will be inside the conservatory roof.

Is there any way to fit the conservatory, without moving the boiler, such as a extended pipe work to vent it?

Any ideas will be welcomed.

It all depends on the age and type of boiler that is installed.

All boilers have a maximum flue length, but they are different according to manufacturer and model.

There may be a way of re-routing the flue, but you will need to get a CORGI registered gas installer to have a look at what could be done.

Sorry can't really give much more advise in here. Without seeing boiler and house.
