skim beads

Whats the best way to stick skim beads to the corners of the walls.I can't nail or screw them because its a brick wall behind the plasterboard.I've also tried bonding but it seems to make the beading stand out too far.Any advice would be much appreciated

Sky hooks probably won't work.

You really should nail or screw.

You could use masonry nails through the plasterboard - but you'll probably mess up the board 'cos they'll have to be long ones.

Drill though the plasterboard right into the brickwork. Insert wallplug into brickwork. Fit beading using long screw right into brickwork.

Cheers

i either use multi finish to stick them, or if they are in a spot that is likely to get knocked, then gripfill is a good alternative. nailing or screwing can sometimes distort the bead and therefore will not give a true profile.
