Showering Salamander universal pump installation

by Bubble » Wed Dec 30, 2020 7:57 pm

Hi all Just signed up ! My first post.I am about to install a Salamander universal pump to a gravity system that will supply a shower & also H/C to a bath & basin.I intend to tee in to the cold supply from Cw tank & tee in to the hot supply from the cylinder! My question is should I got non return valves above the tees to stop pumping back to tank or cylinder ?or will this cause a bent problem on the hot supply! As the pipework at this point supplies the house ! Far too much work to install dedicated supplies. Look forward to comments many thanks in advance Bubble

Hi bubble.
Since you are tank fed for both hot and cold there is no need for NRVs
