Wondering if anyone might have any ideas on this one? One day loads of cold water. Next day no cold water in bathroom. Driving me nuts.

Problem: No cold water in bathroom 1 (Shower, Toilet, Sink)
It is is a mains pressure unvented megaflo cylinder system
Water pressure hot and cold is equal and flowing freely in Kitchen and bathroom 2
Timeline
30th December - Shower, Toilet and Sink cold water working in bathroom 1
31st December - No cold water to bathroom 1 (no changes were made to system between 30th and 31st)
31st December - Plumber called out - checked for airlock. No airlock found. Shower suspected.
When Shower on full hot - some water coming from cold tap. Seems as though Hot may be going back up cold pipes.
11th Jan - Aqualisa engineer attended and changed mixer cartridge on shower.
When cartridge removed and water turned on at stopcock with pipes exposed, water flowing from hot and cold. Hot water flow much greater than from cold pipe.
Cartridge replaced but not turned on. Cold water flowing from tap and into toilet. Shower turned on. Cold water to sink and toilet stopped again. Currently no cold water coming from Shower, Sink or Toilet.
All ideas very welcome.
