Hi. I have a Loftomattic electric loft ladder. It works fine however the door attached to the ladder doesn’t close tightly to the ceiling and had started falling short. The wooden hatch door is attached to the ladder by a strap. When I tighten the strap as much as possible and close the hatch door the hinges start to pull away from the surround. Any idea how I can achieve good closure of the loft hatch door without the hinges moving? Anyone with any experience of this or this type of hatch/ladder? Thanks.
