Wiring LED Batten fixture into plug with inline on/off switch

by misterTii » Fri Feb 12, 2021 1:10 am

I'm looking at this- https://www.tlc-direct.co.uk/Products/RTWPLED2.html

How do I convert or wire this as a plug-in with an inline on/off switch?

The fixtures' wiring diagram on the info sheet shows only a live and neutral wire. No earth. Is this OK?

Would 2-core cable with 3amp fuse suffice? Or 3-core cable with the earth taped up somehow?

Seems like a simple question or job but so hard to find a definitive answer on the 'nets after a few hours looking.

Any advice greatly appreciated.

The installation instructions clearly says "The light fitting is Class II and does not require an earth connection." so two core cable is fine.

Ah yeah, you're right. That's dumb of me.

I guess that my plan sounds all OK then with the 2-core flex, 3amp fuse?
