I bought a Camplux Gas Water Heater unit for an outdoor shower for a campsite last week. Had one last year which worked great, so bought a better model this year.
Built a basic frame for it today and turned the shower on for the first time.
Instant hot water, easy to adjust water flow and temp - brilliant.
Then turned the unit off with the on/off button on the showerhead and the boiler instantly filled with smoke, had smoke pouring out in all directions and had molten silvery metal dripping out all over the place.
What on earth happened?!
