I am about to purchase a 1st floor flat in London inside of a 4 storey purpose built building constructed in the 1960s.
The attached aerial image I obtained from Google (2019) shows the building's flat roof to be quite dirty at the very least. Do you think it's in bad condition? What could those discolorations and patches represent?
The image from 2009 is very similar, so I guess the roof has been in this condition for a long time.
I noticed a faint smell of stale beer (?) when I walked through the stairwell under the smaller flat roof on the way to the flat.
