Missing lid for a build in toilet cistern

by Sylwia » Fri Jul 23, 2021 2:35 pm

Hello. I had to have my bathroom restored about year ago, and even though everthing had been replaced there is more and more issues arising with the job the company did. Today while checking issues with flush, I noticed the lid to cistern is missing, and so I wanted to ask if that is big issue, as everything tells me it is, or will it be ok when left like that

Hi sylwia
The lid has an important function in keeping spray from the ball valve in the cistern, if it is a plastic cistern it also helps to make the cistern rigid. If you have not had any problem in the past year all should be OK to leave as is.
