No hot water - Combi boiler - Post pressure changes - Heating works

by harpomatrix » Wed Jan 12, 2022 1:18 pm

Hi
If posted before apologised, i tried searching and couldn't find.

I noticed this morning the water was cold out of the shower even though after a while it should have been warm.

Looked at the Ideal boiler. And it had the F1 code showing.

So followed online advice and set the pressure to 1.5

This got rid of the F1 message but this now changed to "C"

The heating was on.

But now when turning hot water taps on, nothing comes out.
Cold water tap works.

Have I broken something or caused a new issue?

Hi harpomatrix,
Have you tried pressing the reset button, this should solve the problem.

just posting this to help anyone who might make the same stupid mistake I made.

when I reset the pressure I must have not turned something back or turned one of the other things under the boiler by mistake

so it was my bad for being a novice

the hot water tap turns off when that thing is turned. and when turned back it turned on

sorry! :(
