Overflow drain kit - Schock

by LFWS » Sat Jan 29, 2022 6:26 pm

Hi!

Recently, I noticed some water leakage in the kitchen cupboard below my 1.5 bowl sink. After some investigation, I identified the leakage coming from the overflow drain (see picture attached). I disassembled it and found that the hollow screw that fix the drain in place deteriorated.

The thing is I can't find a replacement anywhere. I tried with one of those hollow screws for sink strainers to no avail (the thread is different, see attached picture).

Rangemaster does not sell the spares for old Schock sinks (mine is from ca. 2000). Schock.de sells the kit for around €8, but it would cost another €25 to deliver to the UK.

Any suggestions on where to find this spare (either the hollow screw or the overflow kit)? Alternatively, does anyone know another workaround for this?

Thanks!

Hi lfws,
If you search for Franke strainer waste with overflow connection you should find what you want.

Hi stoneboy,

Thanks for the suggestion. However, none of the many Franke kits seems to be what I need. The overflow kit here is upside, vertical and narrower than the Franke equivalent options. I'll disassemble the whole kit and post some pictures.

Regards,
LF
