Fixing upvc scratches

by emmafranklin2 » Sat Sep 10, 2022 7:03 pm

Has anyone got a beginners guide to how I fix scratches to plastic upvc which was caused from a Stanley knife? Basically there was layers of old caulk on the plastic of the upvc which we used a Stanley knife to remove but the knife in the process has scratches the upvc. How do I fix it please? What products I need to use and steps I can just follow.
I have attached a photo to show what I mean.
Hope someone can guide me ! Thank you :)

Hi emmafranklin2,
The upvc has a cellular structure below the surface skin. You could try filling the scratches with a white 2-part epoxy filler, sanding down and then spraying with a white aerosol paint.
