Dry Ridge Roof - Unlevel? Please Help/Advice

by t_rea@hotmail.co.uk » Mon Sep 26, 2022 11:01 pm

Hello, I am currently having a porch installed, however I think the builders have not done a very good job with the roof. Specifically the ridge (dry ridge system). It looks unlevel to me and out of proportion, could anyone advice. See images attached. They are saying that this is how it will be due to the style of tile used, but it just looks unfinished and a poor job?

Hi t-rea,
Looks like the top tile has not been cut to the window sill correctly - ask the tradesmen to correct it. It's probably worth asking for the gap under the tiles to be filled with brown coloured mortar. This will look better and will prevent roosting birds.
Regards S
