Hello,
I've two of these spaces set into a wall separating two bedrooms (one closet space on either side).
They measure
108cm (42.5") wide (internal)
230cm (90.5") tall
The internal walls are inset from the doorway by about 4cm (1.5")
Design requirements:
Add some insulation to all three walls to help reduce noise transfer between rooms.
Shelf at the top, with a rail underneath
3 wide drawers at the bottom.
____
I was thinking of a thin baton around all the corners, insulate in between then a layer of ply on this.
Baton round the top for the shelf, install rail beneath.
Use ply and .5" draw runners to create bespoke drawers at the bottom, baton round to put a shelf on top of the drawers.
Any advise, especially on the first part would be great, and advice on materials to do the insulating, also welcome.
Thanks in advance
