Are these "Metal wall Studs" as I cant to seem tfind any wood ones :( information and advice on general building topics, builders merchants, problem builders, DIY Stores etc....

Hi each and all I am looking for a little help, I have just replaced my central heating system and 2 x radiators will not be hung on a solid wall I was hoping to use battons attatched to the wood studs but I simply can't find them - I then went in the loft pulled back the insulation and it appears that this flat may have metal studs

Hi oneaday,
Looks like you have metal stud work for your ceilings, metal studs may have also been used for the walls - you will have to try using a stud detector to confirm and establish their location - if there are any.
