how do I get into the cistern of a dual push button toilet?

by soliver » Sat Oct 13, 2007 7:07 pm

I bought an anti-limescale block with the intention of simply taking off the toilet cistern lid and popping it into the water. But as the push buttons are fitted into the lid, I can't get it off. Does anyone know how to?

Thanks!

There'll be a ring around the buttons. Normally chrome or silver plastic. This will turn anti-clockwise to remove the cistern lid.

Hope this helps

hi,on my one you push down one of the buttons and it shows a recess in the side of the other button which you use to flick the button off with etc. go onto google do a search for your manufacturer and they should have all the details. cheers andy
