My home currently has manual radiator valves on a mix of 8mm and 10mm microbore pipes.
I would like to convert most of them to use British Gas's Hive controlled valves. This involves converting the manual valve to a compatible TRV one first.
My problem is that the current manual valves are very close to the bend in the microbore pipe so a standard Danfoss or Drayton 15mm TRV with 10/8mm reducers would be too long and require extra pipework.
I think I've found some 10mm TRVs (without the use of a reducer) but I do not know if they are compatible with the Hive controller. I cannot find any 8mm ones.
Does anyone know if 8mm / 10mm TRVs without requiring reducers exist? And if they are compatible with Hive controllers?
