Integrated dishwasher door problem Help, advice and problem solutions on all aspects of home appliances from washing machines to TV's

We are having difficulty removing the integrated door to the dishwasher on our new kitchen. We fixed the strips to the door and then put it in place to make sure it all lined up properly. The trouble was now we can not get it back off again to fit the handle to it! How do we do this.

It is a candy dishwasher fitted to a magnet kitchen door by two plastic strips that have a hook on the bottom that slots into a point on the bottom of the dishwasher door. We have tried to move the door in the direction of the hook but it wont budge! i dont want to force it or the strips will snap.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
