torbeck cistern valve

I have had one of the ubove fitted in a toilet
and it runs how do i stop it

The float has jammed

Or is set to the wrong height

Lift off the lid on your toilet and adjust the float height until the water stops running.

thanks but tried no help the float submerges under the water.. even if i lift the arm the water still runs the valve dose not seem to close.befor when i first took it apart to clean i heard a clunk as it shut off never done again
