Look in the projects for a one way switch that is how you wire the light .
Then instead of fitting a one way switch you will use a two way switch.
Using the two wires shown at the one way switch on drawing, instead connect into L1 and L2 of a TWO WAY switch for now and at this stage leave common empty.
***** Depending on type of cable used !!!! *****
You then need 3 cores and earth to link all four switches ending at the fourth switch .
Connect one of the wires to all Four switches using L1 terms
Two 2way and two intermediate switches.
Connect one of the wires to all Four switches using L2 terms
Two 2way and two intermediate switches
You will then need the THIRD wire to go from the COMMON of 1st position two way switch , to link all the way to COMMON of 4th position two way switch.
(SEE BELOW) *****
You will now have two wires in both L1 and L2 of the first two way switch ,
all other terms will have one wire.
ONLY IF WIRED IN MULTICORE CABLE *****
As the THIRD wire is in the 2nd and 3rd positions as well ,join together safely with connecter blocks.
This wire just passes through PAST these two intermediate switches.
IF WIRED IN PIPE USING SINGLE CORE CABLE *****
Install THIRD wire DIRECT from 1st to 4th switch.
Thus eliminating connecter blocks
Bypassing the two intermediate switches
The 2nd and 3rd switches are four terminal intermediate switches , only connect L1 and L2 both in and out
Best to draw circuit and work out best way to wire for you,as you can wire other ways also.
Obviously all must be earthed.
