Internal Brick Walls wanted Information, help and advice on many architecture, self build and design problems and issues

Hello,

My daughter has bought a new flat of late Victorian build. She wants one wall inside to be "a natural brick finish, Dad". It's currently perfectly good plaster !! Seems I can try hacking off the plaster (but I might not like what I find underneath) and then make it look clean (?); Build another skin of brick from floor to ceiling (overkill?); or is there something else I can do to give her the effect she wants with less hassle?
