I have an old phone box that is used as a shower cubicle. I believe it was installed about 20 years ago. The paint on the inside is starting to flake off. I have no idea what sort of paint it is. What should I use to replace it? I tried Hammerite but it immediately started to flake. Any ideas?

primer simple

Ruff up the old surface with a hevey grit paper get a good metal promer and give a couple of coats then is should stick fine.

You may want to try adding pva to the primer as well about 1 to 5, 1 part pva to 5 parts primer.
