hello folks.

Can anybody tell me where it states exactly what tests to carryout after replacing a consumer unit.
I've had a scan through GN3, on-site and and 7671. And all I can come up with is that a minor cert can't be used. As a general rule I usually carry out a full test on all the individual circuits. (Time consuming I know) And not sure whether this is correct and a second opinion would be appreciated.

Yeah, I agree with what your saying and thanks for your advice. Like you I'll also wait until I'm on my 17th in March to see how things change and what happens.

Hi Guys, No changes to inspection/tests at all!
only differences are due to voltages now being 230v not 240v so all in service Zs limits are minutely lower, so unless loop impedance reading was very close to limit of protective device it should not make any difference,
good luck with exam, it is a bit of a b**gg*r, regs OK just finding where they have moved em to in red book!
I got a ? about Dodgem cars!!! also if it helps they seem to be keen on 'external influences',
