We are having a persistent problem with condensation in our main bedroom. We have repainted one wall, which is external, with anti-mould paint and installed extra air bricks below the damp course. The double glazing units are covered in condensation each morning and we have a fine covering of condensation against the external wall to a height of about 6 to 8 inches.
We run a de-humidifier and open the windows most days, weather permitting, but still the problem persists? We are installing cavity wall insulation soon and were wondering if fitting an air vent above the damp course or in the floor would be a good idea prior to the cavity wall insulation being fitted?
