I have just completed a conservatory with a suspended floor. It is pretty level and feels very solid with no noticeable flexing.
I want to lay tiles or a slate floor, rather than laminate or suchlike. What are the pros and cons about the various 'hard' floorings? Is strength an issue or is it just a matter of choosing the look I fancy?
There seems to be a huge range of prices. Does this reflect on utility or just 'looks'?
