How to fix holes in internal brick wall?

by sherbolton » Fri Mar 07, 2008 9:03 am

Hi I have just bought a house and we are currently redecorating. We removed the wallpaper to find 2 large and deep circular holes cut out of the brick, I'm thinking they were sockets. How can we fill the hole and patch the plaster?

you can use expanding foam.
Foam the holes dont use to much it expands 30 times the ammount you use, once dried about 3 hours cut the foam back.
Then use PVA glue to prepair the area around the socket and 1 coat plaster to finish
