Good afternoon guys,
This is my first post - (and is done with a high degree of frustration!)
I recently had a thermostatic valve start leaking on a ground floor radiator, (and needed replacing)
so I turned off the CH water supply,
drained the whole system,
(opening the bleed valve on each radiatior)
replaced the thermostatic valve,
closed each bleed valve, (all rads)
turned on the water supply
Bled each radiatior, (starting from the ground floor & working up)
and, when all rad's filled, turned the CH back on.
all the 1st floor rads heated fine, but the ground floor rads remained cold.
So - I then extensively bled each ground floor rad until warm water reached the rad.
However, they still don't heat up . . it's clear I've an airlock somewhere - - but simply cannot understand what I've done wrong . .
And suggestions and advice will be gratefully acknowledged. . . . .
