Hi,
A builder who has previously done some work for us came to look at our loft conversion today which was done by a loft company and was passed by our local council's building regulations. He said that even though we have had 30 minute fire check doors put in on every door frame in the house, that we should also have had a 30 minute fire check ceiling (which we don't have and were never told about).
Does anyone know if this is a regulation for all councils and loft builds or might it just be the requirements of a council he had done work in before?
If it is compulsory, who do i go to first, the loft company or the council?
Many Thanks
