Ive Fitted Solid Oak Kitchen Worktops and used Medium Oak Danish Oil to Oil/Seal them. The Worktops have darkened with each coat and I dont want them to get any darker but sthey still need a couple of coates of Oil. Anyone suggest an Oil that I can use that wont darken the worktop anymore?

Go to the projects section and see the project on treating wooden worktops. A clear oil, rather than a "medium oak" will give you a clearer finish but you should remember that oak, oiled or not, will darken slightly anyway.

We should have said that probably Danish oil is the best for this. You can buy this at the bottom of our project mentioned above.
