Impact Adhesive Removal from Faux Laminate Floor

Hello, I need some help/advice please. I have just pulled up some self-adhesive faux laminate flooring slats to reveal a lovely old original tiled floor. Unfortunately, the impact adhesive (industrial strength I think) is extremely difficult to remove from the surface of the ceramic tiles the slats were stuck down to. I have tried various methods : acetone&scraper, heatgun&scraper, decapant&scraper, petrol or wd40 to remove residue plus several heavy washes and rinses of floor afterwards. The tile surface is still very sticky to walk on and I want to know if there is an easier, more effective way to remove the impact adhesive residue. Maybe there’s a product around I’m not aware of which can deal with this stuff as it’s a real nightmare to get off. Any advice greatly appreciated. Keith
