Waterproofing timber ends.

I am replacing the timber frame on my garage doors because the originals have rotted away due to water ingress.

Can anyone tell me what is the best product on the market to seal the new timber prior to fixing & staining?

One side of the garage is prone to standing water so it needs to be good stuff!

Thanks.

Click through to the DIYDoctor tool store where you can scroll down to "Paint" Click through and go to Woodcare. There is some 5 star wood preserver in there which will protect your timber fully and can be overstained/painted/varnished etc.
