Loading in loft.

I am fitting a new cold tank and will be raising it above the joist on a new platform. This consists of joists spanning 3.6m but there is a load bearing wall mid way which in fact the current tank sits on. I intend to provide a structure to support the new joists down to this wall. I calculated a fully laden 190Ltr tank to impose a load of 4.1kN/m2. If I place this tank right over the wall (its weight conveyed directly down by a timber frame) am I right in thinking that the joists are only carrying their own weight and the weight of the tank is borne by the wall?
