Timber Framed Garden Building Including Bed, Shower and Toilet

I am planning to build a timber framed detached building which will be a workshop/garden room including a bed/shower/toilet for occasional visitors. I have been told that I will need B Regs approval for the structure.
I was planning to construct using 100x50 studs with shiplap on the outside and t&g boarding inside - to give a cabin feel. Can anyone advise thickness of insulation I will require. I favour using Celotex or similar??
Thanks - John
