Hello,
I had lime plaster on my walls. One of the walls the lime had to be completely removed (because it fell off).
Now my question is - can i use browning directly onto the stone wall, or would i have to render it in NHL (Natural Hydraulic Lime) first.
I know lime was used because it was more permeable, but this is for an internal wall, can i use browning?

Cheers

OKHorne,
Assuming the wall is stable - not lots of movement cracks - paint the wall first with waterproof PVA, this will stablise the surface then apply browning.
