Hi we are about to embalk of a medium size building project. What sor of tade discount should we be able to get on bricks, timbers and window frames - I keep seeing different ones. We need to look for a generous discount as we are strapped for cash presently. Thanks in anticipation.

You won't get "generous" discounts unless you give them volume (on an ongoing basis) I'm afraid. That volume will be a lot more than for a single project.

You'll probably be able to blag around 10% but little more I suspect.

Sorry.

Cheers

Make a list of your needs,
take it to as many BM,s as you can, and see what they come up with.
