Costs of Excavating a Basement Under Front Garden

by carbar » Mon Aug 19, 2013 12:48 pm

Hi.

I'm trying to find out approximate costs of digging up my front garden for a basement.

I've already spoken to my local council and they said that as long as the basement was no bigger than the current house footprint, I should be allowed to do it.

Another article on this website mentioned a cost of around £3000/metre, but I'm not sure what that means. Is that per square metre of basement floorspace?

Thanks,

Carl

you will need to have plans drawn so an accurate price can be produced
