I am having a new floor fitted due to rot (floor is only 32 years old). There is no ventilation under the floor, so telescopic vents are the best way forward. The house is sandstone, circa 1880, with approx two foot thick walls. I am having difficulty finding a qualified builder who knows how to fit these in thick walls. Can anyone give any relevant advice? Thanks, free spirit

the most difficult thing is cutting the holes, if its sandstone you can purchase buff coloured clay airbricks, the periscope can be formed using square plastic ducting
