Opening up Roof Space in Small Lean to Extension off of Kitchen

I'm sure this should be a straightforward query, but I don't want to take any action until I'm sure;

We have a small lean-to single storey extension on to the kitchen at the rear of the house. It protrudes just under 5 feet from the main house wall and is full width of the kitchen- about 13 feet wide.

Currently the ceiling inside the whole kitchen is flat, but I plan on opening up the ceiling space just within the lean-to area buy removing the ceiling joists, in order to fit 3 small Velux windows in the lean-to roof.

House is standard construction 1930's semi with the lean-to roof tiled.

Am I okay to remove ceiling joists in this lean-to section without there being adverse consequences on the load-bearing wall that supports the lean-to roof?

Im guessing yes as the lean-to section doesn't protrude far, and the Velux will be lighter than the weight of the tiles they replace, but any reassurance would be greatly received before I start work!

Many thanks to anyone that can advise.
