Hi... my first post here... Looking for a tool gift that my 85 year old father will love... he is building a shed and remodeling in the house...
new tools ideas like anything with lasers, that might be a recent invention... digital cameras in some tools now...
any ideas are helpful.
Thank you!!

You can get lasers for leveling instead of spirit level with a bubble...
Example at..
Line Laser, Meterk Cross Laser Level with Measuring Range 15M, Switchable Self-Leveling Vertical and Horizontal Line, Rotatable 360 Degree with Flexible Magnetic Base, Battery Included
https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07JQ3YL95/ ... 9CbC3E5J2GNot looked into if this is a good one or not but you get the idea.

Well I ended up getting the laser leveler...looked around and found others were very happy...it shines a light on the wall perfectly level... not too expensive

Slip it in an envelope address it to the recipient and pop it in the mail. Works for me.
Fathers day pressie - How about a nice Shimano rod. Carbon fire as strong as an ox and he can think about his shed while he wiles away the day. That's what I do.
Yup! There's a time to build and a time to relax and kick back. Fathers day is usually at the start of the coarse season (not where I live though. We haven't got a close season) and I go and sit and think and my dog snoozes and my coffee always tastes better.
