How to Purposely Round Screw Heads?

Apologies if this is the wrong section but i didnt know which one to go to.
Im looking for ideas for how to round the screw heads off on my gate so no one can take the gate off.
I tried using a drill but it was just destroying my drill bits.
Weird question, i know but any ideas are welcome.
