Hi all,

I wish to remove an internal timber stud & plasterboard constructed utility room from my kitchen to enable the kitchen area to be opened up.

Any tips as to how to remove the said walls without damage? after removing the door and frame do I punch through the plaster board and pull it away?

Yes dave just rip it all out. The plaster will be either on with screw or nails which should all just pull away. You will need to watch what your pulling at as there may well be plumbing and electrics behind the stud wall so proceed with care. The wood stud work will again be screwed or nailed. If its screwed the just take out the screws first and it all should come apart. Work from the top down. There will always be some damage with this type of job. Hope this helps mate.
