Help please.

I am fitting kitchen and using Staron worktops, they have about 6 mm acrilic layer on top that can be machined.

I have sucessfully fitted the worktop and an insterted sink (fitted from underneath, took ages but looks real neat) Now I need to route drainage channels in the surface. Need to get this right as I'm looking at £1000+ worktop!

I can route a semicircular straight grouve, but how do I get the depth to increase as it approaches the sink.

I think I need to set up some form of inclined plane but is there an easy trick ??

Make up a jig for the router to follow, with the correct spacings for your grooves and like you say incline it, making sure that the jig is very secure. Practice on a scrap bit of timber first.
