cutting bamboo

i need to replace two pieces of bamboo kitchen worktop, this would require making two straight cuts across a piece of worktop. what is the best method of cutting, ie do i use a circular saw, or something else, i dont want to splinter the worktop. any help would be appreciated.

no, had a look, really just want to know the best form of making a straight 90 degree cut in a bambboo kitcken worktop, in order to get the best finish. thanks.
